12 Different Camera Shots


This is a cameo shot, where a subject is filmed against a neutral background.

This is a choker, where a subject is filmed at a close-up angle and usually only shows the subject's face.

This is a dolly shot, which is accomplished by moving the camera as if it were on a set of tracks.

This is an extreme close up, where the shot is magnified to emphasize a small detail.

This is a high angle shot, where a video is filmed above the subjects.

This is a pan-shot, where the camera follows the subject through a change of angles and not through a change of camera position.

This is a point of view shot, where the camera is angled to look as if it was from a first person view of a character.

This is an extreme long shot, where a wide angle is taken from a far distance.

This is a low angle shot, where a shot is filed from below the subject.

This is a full shot, where the angle is just the right size to fit the entire subject's body. 

This is a head on shot, where the camera is pointed directly at the action taking place.

This is a follow shot, where the angle of the camera changes to follow the subject.

  1. Nice shots Francisco, my favorite shots out of all of them was they eye shot of ryan, because it shows off so much details of everything going on in the video.
